Survivor Series 1989 WIP

Photobucket

Wasn't really a priority to get this cover done, so thus it was never finished. It was meant to be a higher quality version of my program covers I made a while ago which were all small.

Update: Summerslam 1989 WIP

Haven't shown any new previews on the Summerslam 89' cover, and with reason I haven't been working on it. But I now have another set back with it. I had thought I saved all the psd/cuts I done from the program, and instead all I have is whats on the cover psd. So to really do anything else with the cover I might need to re cut Hogan/Beefcake, Savage/Zeus/Sherri, and I already had Warrior/Rude done and will need to do those again as well.

There big 600dpi cuts so they take time.

And yes once the cuts get done again....They will be uploaded to psdprotocol.

Photobucket

Its for sale on ebay right now, look it up if your interested.

WIP: Summerslam 1989 Custom

Photobucket

Sorry for the lack of posting, but had alot going on. Anyway as if no one knew it, this cover will take a while to finish. One reason being I'm cutting everything that will go on the cover, unlike some or most others that have psd's that already been cut.

So in this update I've got Savage/Zeus/Sherri added, but where their at on the cover doesn't mean thats where they will be at.

WIP: Summerslam 1989 Custom

Here is my latest project Summerslam 1989..Custom.

This will be my first of many classic covers I do custom's of turning them in to modern looking graphic covers, rather then in the past just being a convert, or custom being just to keep it looking original. In the past the closest I have came to doing custom classic covers are my WM9 and RR90 covers, both still had major intent to look basic and a little original, the RR90 cover was still meant to look like a 1990 cover, rather then this Summerslam 1989 cover that I hope looks like something from 2009.

Full Cover: Survivor Series 1989 VHS

Photobucket

Here's a tough one to find WWF Survivor Series 1989 the VHS cover, I happened to have it, found it off ebay long ago, though I own the cover and have a HQ scan of it, this is not HQ, but better then anything else.

Unreleased-unfinished custom cover #2

Photobucket

This is a custom of Royal Rumble 1989, it like the topic says is unfinished and has never been seen by anyone, its part of my Royal Rumble project.

WWF WWE Survivor Series 1989 custom cover

Photobucket

This was one I made a while ago, before I had owned the VHS box, and before I had a good working scanner, so main reason for everything looking as weird as it does is because everything was done from taking photos with my camera of pages of the December 1989 WWF Magazine. Of course I already had the main layout.

In the future I plan on making another Survivor Series 89 custom featuring the match pics from the magazine, like this one, but scanned at 600dpi, making it look alot better.

WWF WWE Survivor Series 1989 custom cover

Heres one of a few customs I made for WWF Survivor Series 1989, this one features the Million Dollar team on the front, as to the original that features Hogans team. Some of the other stuff added to the front are from the WWF Magazine and official program ads, and the top is from the mid 80s WWF videos, that being the top header of Coliseum Video Presents. The back is all still original.
